Volunteer Trail Day at Curt Gowdy State Park

Thanks to those who signed up to volunteer. We hope you have a great day of trail building at Gowdy!
Volunteers will be helping to build a New Trail at Gowdy State Park! We are looking to fill eight (8) volunteer spots for this event. Tasks will range from basic trail construction to working with rock structures. All tools, instruction and project guidance will be provided. Bring your own snacks and lunch – water will be available. We plan to work from 9:00am to about 4:00pm-ish. Bring your bikes to ride afterwards!
Please expect to follow any pandemic protocols in place at time of event – this will most likely include wearing masks and self-distancing as much as possible.
We encourage you to wear sturdy boots, long pants, long sleeve shirts and work gloves (no shorts, sandals, flip-flops, etc.) Please also bring your own water bottle, sunscreen, face mask and a hat.
